Decided to fiddle around with textures to make it look more grungy. Requesting critiques though I prolly wont go back to this, but it's a new technique that I'd like to hear others ideas or suggestions on it. Proportions look wonky in color, it looks better in the sketch :/
I'm sleepy but my head is going a mile a minute (I BLAME BOYS.), so I decided to color the sketch of this. If you haven't already, you should read Arashi Touketsu Raisu before you read on XD
Sushi's a neat character in ATR, and I can sort of see her a little like Raisu in her younger days. Thinking war is all glorious, good vs. evil, and how you're invincible to it all. But then a day comes (for EVERYONE, really) when you realize that you're not immortal. She's a young dog in this picture, laying in the snow in shame, anger, defeat, or frustration. She doesn't know what to do. I wanted to make it look like she could very well get up and carry on, but she's got an internal battle going on inside. She's more mentally exhausted than anything else.
